The Bakery Life: Thanksgiving at Flour & Co!

5 Nov

To think that our first Thanksgiving together is just around the corner is super exciting (and slightly overwhelming)!  Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday (and I think many on my team would agree).  What’s better than a day that is devoted to giving thanks for all of the wonderful people and things in our lives.  And, it doesn’t hurt that it’s centered around a dinner table (seated with friends and family) that is filled with delectable treats.  Mmmm….

My affection towards sharing a meal together has grown and taken on a much bigger meaning with Flour & Co in my life!  With each Thanksgiving treat or dessert that we share with you, we spread our collective Flour & Co love and thankfulness. What fun this is going to be!

With lots of details to share, let’s start with the good stuff…dessert!

Goodies for your table! If you want to leave dessert to us, we highly suggest that you pre-order your goodies for pick up the two days before Thanksgiving.  The earlier the better!  While we plan to have desserts on hand these two days for last minute grabs, they may go quickly.

To pre-order, simply stop by, call, or email (info@flourandco.com) your order by November 21st.  Note: If you leave a message or send an email to place an order, your order will not be complete until you hear back from us, and we take your credit card information.  Another note: These desserts will be available all month long for special order.  We just need 24 hour notice.

Here are some photos (thanks to Jen Doan Photography) to tempt you…

Thanksgiving Hours:

We will be closed Thanksgiving Day, November 28, as well as the day after, November 29th.  We will be open regular business hours (6:30am-6pm daily) all other days Thanksgiving week.

November ‘Raising Dough’:

We have so much to be thankful for, but not every one is as fortunate.  Our Raising Dough charity for November is the SF Food Bank.  We want to help put food on peoples’ tables this Thanksgiving.  Bring a can of food for our collection or drop your loose change in our collection box when you come in to place your order, or pick up, or get your daily coffee.  We thank you for anything that you can do to help!
